Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) a security system that requires more than one method of verifying a user's identity before granting access to an account or system. MFA adds a strong layer of security because even if someone steals your password, they can’t get in without the other security factors.

AXIS has a two-factor system, which requires the use of an authenticator app on your mobile device.

Here's how to set it up...

1. Navigate to your school Settings.
2. Go to Account Settings.
3. Scroll to the Security section at the bottom.
4. Hit Enable for Two-factor authentication.
5. In your authenticator app on your phone, scan the QR code shown.
6. Then type in the six digit number shown in your authenticator app.
7. The next time you log into AXIS, you will be asked for the six digit number shown in your authenticator app.
