Add Meeting Types and Locations

Configure these in your Events settings.

There are many circumstances where you might want to have a meeting at your school, here are some examples:

  • Talk to a lead or group of leads to go over the join up process with them.
  • Give a motivational talk to a student who is losing interest.
  • Have a team meeting with your instructors to talk about students and requirement.
  • Book a personal training or catch up session with a student.

Here's how to set up custom meeting types...

Note: There are 4 default meeting types for you to use and you can add your own. Only custom meeting types can be edited or deleted.

  1. Navigate to Calendar.
  2. Select Events.
  3. Click on the Settings button (you will land on Meeting Type).
  4. Click Add Meeting Type.
  5. Give it a name and select a colour.
  6. Click Save.
     


Here's how to set up meeting locations...

There may be different areas within your schools that might be more suited to a particular type of meeting, for example:

  • Talk to a lead or group of leads to go over the join up process with them (school manager's office).
  • Give a motivational talk to a student who is losing interest (parent seating area).
  • Have a team meeting with your instructors to talk about students and requirement (staff room).
  • Book a personal training or catch up session with a student (mat area 2).
     
  1. In the settings navigation, click on Meeting Locations.
  2. Click Add Meeting Location.
  3. Enter the name.
  4. Click Save.
